New BSG Health & Safety Adviser for Scotland

We are pleased to announce that Scott Lynch has joined us as our new Health and Safety Adviser for Scotland. Scott has over 13 years’ experience working in the construction industry and holds both the ‘NEBOSH National General’ and ‘Construction’ certificates, as well as ‘Fire Safety and Risk Management’ and ‘Health and Safety Leadership & Excellence’.

As an accomplished professional, Scott will be responsible for providing advice and carrying out site inspections throughout the Scottish region. Commenting on his new position, Scott said: “I’m delighted to have joined the Building Safety Group and am looking forward to working with our members by helping to ensure they are in compliance with regulations and standards, as well as helping companies to develop and implement their health and safety policies to promote a safe working environment.”

BSG’s Regional manager for the North and Scotland, Mick Byrne, commented: “I’m very pleased to have Scott with us. With his wealth of knowledge, I am sure he will have a direct impact by helping businesses to identify any areas of concern, alongside his advice on best practice for minimising the risk of accidents on site.” Mick added: “Scott will also be pivotal in supporting BSG’s aspirations to expand its operations in Scotland.
