Membership Account Manager
Key areas of responsibility
- To participate in the development of and implement the company’s membership account management strategy, ensuring that it is consistently applied and continuously improved
- To ensure company and personal KPI’s are monitored, discussed, and achieved, taking corrective action in order to achieve targets set
- To ensure retention and recruitment of members and implement innovative sales and retention strategies in order to maximise retention rates, training bookings and the purchase of additional services
- Implement a comprehensive contact strategy plan to ensure strong relationships with member companies
- To communicate and present professionally and effectively either face to face or via teams/telephone
- To be fully conversant with BSG’s membership levels, training services and other membership service propositions
- To promote and develop harmonious and effective relationships between all employees, members, customers, suppliers and other stakeholders
- To be responsible for the security, control, maintenance and economic use of the company’s money, assets, stocks and data
Job requirements. The chosen candidate for this position will have:
- The ability to build a rapport with member companies on the telephone and other media platforms (Essential)
- Knowledge of the Construction and housing sector (Desirable)
- Good working knowledge of CRM (Essential)
- The ability to plan and manage their time in order to achieve maximum effectiveness and efficiency (Essential)
- A proven record of tele-sales (Essential)
- Good working knowledge and experience of H&S law/regulations applicable to construction sector (Desirable)

Devon and Somerset - Full-time | Competitive salary | Remote-based
The ideal candidate for this position would:
- Hold the NEBOSH Construction Certificate (essential)
- Have previous experience of Health and Safety within the construction Industry
- Be an engaging, communicative individual who is IT literate and able to liaise at all levels
- Be self-disciplined and able to manage their own diary
This is a full-time, remote-based position, working within a team that covers Devon and Somerset. We are offering a competitive salary, matched contributory pension scheme, and 26 days holiday per annum. A full current driving license is essential.
