What will you learn?

This half day course will ensure that those attending are aware of the legal duties regarding manual handling operations at work

On successful completion the student will be able to demonstrate knowledge of the following:

The statutory obligations placed on managers and others
The criteria used when carrying out manual handling assessments
The techniques used to reduce manual handling injuries
Guidance on load handling in various positions and situations

Group bookings

If you have a group of 6 or more employees requiring training, we can run a Manual Handling course on a private basis, at a venue of your choice on a date that suits you. We can tailor the course to meet your needs and requirements.

Group booking rates (per half day course)

At BSG Training Centre:

BSG Members – £550+VAT
Non-Members – £660+VAT

At your premises:

*BSG Members – £490+VAT*
*Non-Members – £575+VAT*

Plus mileages and overnight accommodation if necessary
Fee quoted for members’ rates includes 20% discount.

*Max. 14 delegates per course.

Our Manual Handling courses are held at our training centre in Bristol BS35 3QH.
