Emergency First Aid at Work (1 day)

This course is designed for those persons appointed to take charge of emergencies within the workplace.

Some of the topics covered are

  • Diagnosis and treatment

  • Asphyxia

  • Resuscitation

  • Control of bleeding and circulation

  • Amputations

  • Causes of unconsciousness - treatment and recovery position

  • Spinal injuries - recovery position

  • Burns

  • Poisons

  • Eye injuries

  • Fractures

  • All in accordance with the current First Aid Manual and HSE requirements.
